Southern Italy beguiles every sense. Step back in time to the Roman Empire in the beautiful Bay of Naples, then tour ancient cities and explore pastel-hued villages on the Amalfi Coast – all while savouring exquisite regional delicacies.

Day 1 - Naples - Pompeii - Paestum
Bright, buzzing and echoing with tales from millennia of history, Naples is your springboard for exploring Southern Italy. We'll start with our local guide leading us into the labyrinthine streets of the historic centre in search of the Cappella Sansevero, home to the Veiled Christ – one of the finest sculptures in the world. The afternoon will transport us back in time with a visit to archaeological wonder Pompeii. We'll then travel to UNESCO World heritage-listed Paestum, where we'll dine tonight. Meals - Dinner

Day 2 - Paestum - Minori
This morning we have an appointment at Tenuta Seliano – an authentic farm-inn – where we'll visit the buffaloes and watch owner Cecilia Bellelli Baratta make light, fresh mozzarella. Afterwards, we'll continue our trip off the tourist trail with a guided tour of Paestum. With crumbling marble temples set against a mountain backdrop, this village is a little-known treasure waiting to be discovered. Later, we'll return to Tenuta Seliano and a kitchen piled high with local produce, including mozzarella and ricotta, fruits and vegetables, buffalo meat and fresh pasta. It's time to learn the art of traditional Campania cooking! Our hard work will be rewarded when we get to eat what we've prepared at lunch with the family. Our hunger well satisfied, we'll continue on to Minori. Meals - Breakfast & Lunch

Day 3 - Minori - Ravello - Tramonti - Minori
This morning we'll explore Minori on a guided walking tour before continuing on to Ravello for a guided tour. Our next stop involves a citrus twist – we're off to a lemon farmhouse. After learning about the cultivation process, we'll dive into a tasting spread of limoncello, lemon salad and of course, lemon gelato. Meals - Breakfast & Dinner

Day 4 - Minori - Amalfi - Positano - Minori
After a hearty breakfast, our first stop, Amalfi will be nothing short of wow-inducing. When we get there, we'll embark on a short walking tour with plenty of time to take in the surrounding beauty. Later, we'll venture onwards to the oh-so blissful town of Positano. To continue the artisan theme of the tour, we'll meet with a ceramics specialist for the chance to join a ceramic colouring session. After a delightful and insightful day, we'll rest our heads in Minori tonight. Meals - Breakfast

Day 5 - Minori - Capri - Minori
The high life beckons today as we sail to the island of Capri, off the Sorrento Peninsula. Lapped by the inky blue waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea, Capri has been a popular resort since the days of Ancient Rome. We'll enjoy a ride on the charming funicular railway from the port, which whisks us through bright, fragrant lemon groves, before taking some free time to see and be seen among the exclusive boutiques, cafés and restaurants of Capri town. Later on this afternoon, we'll return to Minori. Meals - Breakfast

Day 6 - Minori - Naiori - Vietri - Cetara - Minori
Today we'll add more pearls to our collection with visits to (and walking tours of) Maiori and Cetara. After a morning of exploring, we'll drive to Vietri sul Mare –where local craftspeople create hand-painted, vividly coloured ceramics – for another guided tour. Back in Minori, we'll enjoy some free time before meeting for our final dinner together. Meals - Breakfast & Dinner

Day 7 - Minori - Palace of Caserta - Sant'Agata Dei Goti - Naples
Today we'll bid the Amalfi Coast a fond farewell and drive to the 18th-century Royal Palace of Caserta, the last great creation of the Italian Baroque period. From the royal to the rustic – our next stop is a farmhouse in Sant'Agata de' Goti, where we'll taste Falanghina wines produced from black grapes grown in the Campania region. There's time for one last, leisurely Italian lunch before we return to Naples, where our adventure ends. Meals - Breakfast & Lunch
