Day 1: Arrival in Iceland
Arrival in Iceland, transfer to Reykjavik. If your flight lands early in the day, a great suggestion is to explore Reykjavík, the largest municipality in Iceland. Overnight stay in Reykjavík.

Day 2: Westman Islands
Breakfast at your hotel. The first stop today will be made at Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where you can walk behind the waterfall.

Travel along the farmlands of the south coast to Landeyjahofn harbor. After arriving at the Bakkafjara pier, take a 30 minuteferry ride to the Westman Islands. The destination is Heimaey Island, the largest of the Westmans and the only inhabited one. Visit the island's Storhofdi Point with its fantastic views over the area. During mid-May through the beginning of August it is also possible to see puffins here. Take a walk up to the crater of a volcano that erupted only three decades ago. Visit Eldheimar Museum and explore the flora growing in the new lava field. Afternoon at leisure to explore the island on your own. Overnight in the Westman Islands.

Day 3: South Shore - Skogar - Vik
Breakfast at your hotel. Take the ferry back from the Westman Islands and travel further on along the south shore. Pass numerous glacial rivers en route toSkogafoss waterfall. A famous folk museum is nearby, showcasing the buildings and daily life of Icelanders in the past centuries. Next travel to Thorvaldseyri Farm located at the foot of theworld famous Eyjafjallajokull volcano that last erupted in the spring of 2010. A visitor's centre/family-run exhibit tells the story of the eruption with a 20 minute film and displays about the spectacular natural disaster Continue on to the black sands of Reynisfjara beach. Here you can witness the powerful waves and amazing basalt Colum features carved by the power of the sea. Dinner and overnight stay in Vik area for the next 2 nights.

Day 4: Vik - Skaftafell - Jokulsarlon
Breakfast at your hotel. Cross Eldhraun, the largest mass of lava ever to flow on the face of the Earth before reaching the small town Kirkjubaejarklaustur, the former site of a 12th-century Catholic convent. Head onwards to Skaftafell National Park, one of Iceland's most outstanding areas of natural beauty. Continue to the stunning Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon to see floating icebergs and maybe a curious seal or two. A boat trip takes you on a sail between the floating ice bergs. Throughout the day, enjoy magnificent views of the mighty Vatnajökull Glacier. Dinner and overnight in Vik area.

Day 5: Gullfoss - Geysir - Thingvellir - Reykjavik
Breakfast at your hotel. Today head for the Geysirhot spring area to see the famous great Geysir as well as Strokkur, a hot spring that spouts every few minutes. Travel onwards to Gullfoss, one of Iceland’s most impressive waterfalls. The next stop is Thingvellir National Park, where the Viking-age parliament met for centuries on the shores of Iceland’s largest lake. This is also where you can see the meeting point where the European and North American tectonic plates meet. After some time to explore Thingvellir, head back to Reykjavik. Overnight stay in Reykjavík.

Day 6: A Free day in Reykjavik
Overnight stay in Reykjavík The day is open for you to enjoy more of Reykjavik. Perhaps you might take a day tour to see a different area in Iceland, such as the Snaefellsnes Peninsula or Borgarfjordur and the amazing Into the Glacier experience. Dinner is on own.

Day 7: Ilulissat, a UNESCO heritage site
Breakfast at your hotel. Assisted transfer to Reykjavik domestic airport in the morning and flight to Greenland. Arrive around noon to the picturesque town of Ilulissat. It has a beautiful location at the mouth of a longIce -fjord, filled withenormous icebergs from the most productive glacier in the northern hemisphere.

A guide from Greenland will welcome you at the airport and take you to the hotel. After check-in at the hotel, you will get a short introduction to your tours in Greenland and optional activities you might book. Afterwards you will enjoy approx. 2 hours walking tour in the centre of the town with a local guide and learn about modern life close to the Arctic Circle. Return back at the hotel for a welcome dinner.

Day 8: Eqi Glacier
Breakfast at your hotel. Today you get a pick up in the morning for a full day tour to the Eqi glacier (sail is 6-12 hours, depending on the boat used). Very few places in Greenland are as beautiful as the Eqi glacier, thrusting out in a fjord north of Ilulissat. Sail to the very edge of the glacier’s frontline rising 80-90 meters (262 to 296 feet) above the surface of the ocean. Enjoy lunch on board, surrounding by majestic ice bergs. Through the cruise, watch big chunks of heavy ice break off the glacier and tremble intensely into the water. The sight and sound of icebergs shattering is impressive. Afterwards you will be driven back to the hotel.

Day 9: Old Settlements
In the morning, hike to the remains of the old settlement Sermermiut, situated by the Ice-fjord. Listen to stories about life and customs of the Greenlanders before the arrival of Europeans while enjoying incredible views of the icebergs. The hike is about 2 hours, easy level.

The afternoon is open for your own activities, such as visiting local museums. Numerous optional excursions are also available (booked and paid in Greenland). Farewell dinner at the hotel.

Day 10: Travel Day

The morning is free for own explorations. Enjoy the vistas of beautiful icebergs in the fjord or complete any final shopping for tupilaks other handicraft souvenirs. Transfer to the airport in Ilulissat and flight to Reykjavik, followed by a transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay in Reykjavík.

Day 11: Departure
Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to the airport. We recommend you depart no later than three hours before your international flight.
