Day 1 - Sat: Arrive Luang Prabang
Arrive in Luang Prabang this evening. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2 - Sun: Luang Prabang
This morning visit Luang Prabang. Explore the market, then take a city tour including the Former Royal Palace (now the National Museum), Wat Xieng Thong, Wat Sen and Wat Visun. The rest of day is at leisure. (B)
Day 3 - Mon: Luang Prabang
The day is at leisure to relax and pursue independent activities. (B)
Day 4 - Tue: Luang Prabang / Hanoi
Late this morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. (B)
Day 5 - Wed: Hanoi
Enjoy a morning Hanoi half day city tour including visits to the One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature and the bustling Old Quarter. The afternoon is at leisure or you can choose to take additional optional tours of Hanoi. (B)
Day 6 - Thu: Hanoi / Ha Long Bay
This morning drive to Ha Long Bay. Board a wooden sailing junk for a cruise among the hundreds of islets of Ha Long Bay, where you will enjoy a seafood lunch and a swim (weather permitting). In the afternoon, visit a grotto before dropping anchor for the night on Ha Long bay. (BLD)
Day 7 - Fri: Ha Long Bay / Hanoi / Danang / Hoi An (Brunch)
Spend the morning cruising through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Ha Long Bay. Following lunch, return to Hanoi, stopping en route at Dong Trieu ceramic factory. Transfer to the Hanoi airport for the early evening flight to Danang. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Hoi An. (BL)
Day 8 - Sat: Hoi An
In the morning embark on a half-day tour of Hoi An, visiting ancient merchants’ houses, a Hokkien temple, a 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, the vibrant riverside market and a lantern workshop to learn the techniques involved and then create your own. The afternoon is at leisure or you can choose to take additional optional tours of Hoi An. (B)
Day 9 - Sun: Hoi An / Hue
Depart Hoi An this morning for the ancient capital of Hue. Upon arrival, visit the elaborate tomb of Emperor Minh Mang before checking into your hotel. In the afternoon visit the spectacular Imperial Citadel which was built on the same principles and design as Beijing's Forbidden Palace, and contains a series of palaces, ornate halls, libraries, residences and colleges. Proceed to the elegant Thien Mu Pagoda to witness a daily Buddhist prayer recital by the monks before enjoying a sunset cruise on the river back to the hotel. (B)
Day 10 - Mon: Hue / Ho Chi Minh City
Transfer this morning to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, enjoy a brief orientation tour of the city including the Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office. This afternoon visit the Chinatown, Binh Tay Market and Thien Hau Temple. (B)
Day 11 -Tue: Ho Chi Minh City
Today you will have a full day at leisure in Ho Chi Minh City, or you may choose to take an optional half day tour. (B)
Day 12 - Wed: Ho Chi Minh City / Siem Reap
This morning is free for shopping before transferring to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, explore Khmer temples from the early Angkor period. Visit the Roluos group of temples dating from the 9th and 10 century, including Preah Ko, Bakong and Lolei temples. (B)
Day 13 - Thu: Siem Reap - Angkor Complex
Begin exploration of the ancient city by entering Angkor Thom via the South Gate. Continue with the ruins at Bayon, Baphoun, Phimeanakas, the Royal Palace, the Elephant Terraces and the Leper King Terrace. In the afternoon visit the magnificent Angkor Wat with its extraordinary architecture and bas-reliefs. End the day with a spectacular sunset viewed from the top of the mountain temple of Phnom Bakheng. (B)
Day 14 - Fri: Siem Reap
The day is at leisure to relax and pursue independent activities. (B)
Day 15 - Sat: Siem Reap / Departure
Transfer in then morning to the airport for your onward flight. (B)
