12 Day / 11 Night Tour Package in India

Day 1 - Arrive Delhi
Arrive in Delhi this evening. You are met upon arrival and escorted to your hotel where you may relax and unwind before your tours in India.

Day 2 - Akshardham Temple Sightseeing
After a leisurely morning, visit the beautiful Akshardham Temple. Built without steel, it consists of 234 ornately carved pillars, 9 ornate domes, 20 quadrangled shikhars, a spectacular Gajendra Pith (plinth of stone elephants) and 20,000 statues of India’s great sadhus, devotees, acharyas and divine personalities. (B)

Day 3 - Delhi Sightseeing
Embark on your tour of Old and New Delhi. Visit Old Delhi covering the Red Fort, Raj Ghat, Ashoka Pillar and the mile-long Chandni Chowk bazaar. In the afternoon tour New Delhi as you drive along Rajpath to view the Parliament House, the President’s House and India Gate. Visit the Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar and Birla Temple. (B)

Day 4 - Delhi / Agra
Drive to Agra, en route visiting Sikandra. In Agra, visit the Agra Fort followed by a visit to the Taj Mahal for a sunset view. (B)

Day 5 - Agra / Fatehpur Sikri / Jaipur
Drive to Jaipur, en route stopping at the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri, a masterpiece of Muslim and Hindu architecture. Continue overland to Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. Check in at your hotel. (B)

Day 6 - Amber Fort Excursion & Jaipur Sightseeing
In the morning, visit the mountain fortress of Amber, riding atop daintily painted and decorated elephants. Later, enjoy a tour of Jaipur City, and visit Hawa Mahal, City Palace and the ancient observatory. (B)

Day 7 - Jaipur / Udaipur
This morning fly to Udaipur. Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon tour this famous “City of Lakes,” known as one of the most picturesque and romantic cities of India and maybe the world. Visit City Palace, Saheliyon ki Bari or Garden of Maids and the folklore museum where you can see a presentation of the string puppets typical to this area. (B)

Day 8 - Ranakpur Excursion
Today’s excursion brings you to the beautifully sculpted 15th century Jain temples of Ranakpur. The intricately carved white marble is well preserved. The temple dedicated to the Sun God is famed for its erotic sculpture. (B)

Day 9 - Udaipur / Goa
Fly this morning to Goa via Mumbai. You will be met upon arrival in Goa, and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. (B)

Day 10 - Goa Sightseeing
This is an incredible part of your Goa tour package where your exploration of Goa takes you to the Patriarch’s Palace, Dona Paula Beach (where you will view the world’s largest natural harbor), Se Cathedral, Basilica of Bom Jesus (where the body of St. Francis Xavier is enshrined), and the church of St. Francis of Assisi. Afternoon is at leisure. (B)

Day 11- Goa / Mumbai
Fly to Mumbai this afternoon. Arrive and transfer to your hotel. (B)

Day 12 - Mumbai / Depart
On the last day of your India tour package, cruise across the harbor to the Elephanta Caves, filled with carvings and sculptures dating to 550 A.D. Your afternoon tour of Mumbai includes the British-built arch “Gateway of India,” the Hanging Gardens and the Malabar Hills where Mumbai’s rich and famous live, the Prince of Wales Museum, Dhobi Ghat, Marine Drive, the Gandhi Memorial Museum and Jain Temple. Late evening transfer to international airport for your onward flight.
