Day 1 - Arrive Entebbe - Ngamba Chimpanzee Island
Arrive to Entebbe, Uganda, where you are met and escorted to your hotel. Afternoon excursion to Ngamba Chimpanzee Island (time permitting).

Day 2 - Entebbe / Bwindi National Park
Full day drive to Bwindi (charter flight option available at additional cost). (BLD)

Day 3 - Bwindi National Park - Gorilla Trekking
An early morning trek into the forest on the slopes of the volcanoes, led by experienced trackers, will bring you amongst a family of Mountain Gorillas. You will get within feet of the family, and have the privilege of spending time amongst them. Return to the lodge for a late lunch, with an opportunity for a forest walk with the guides. (BLD)

Day 4 - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today, those who have opted for two gorilla treks (additional cost), will set off once again into the forest. Those not gorilla trekking will be able to go on a forest walk in Bwindi looking for birds and primates with a local knowledgeable guide, or go on a local community village walk. (BLD)

Day 5 - Bwindi / Lake Mburo National Park
Travel into the Uganda Highlands - the Switzerland of Africa - with great views and vistas of this lush green area, to Lake Mburo National Park. Here you may go on a walk with a local guide, or on a game drive in search of zebra, leopard, various antelope and hippo - as well as prolific birdlife. (BLD)

Day 6 - Lake Mburo / Depart Entebbe
Return to Entebbe arriving late afternoon. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight (after 8pm), or choose to extend your stay in Entebbe or an overnight on Ngamba Island. (B)
